why, you may ask, am i breathless with excitement?
1) i wore my new outfit (the shirt, my drop earrings, my necklace and brought my new wallet which matched the shirt) to pirates of the carribean 3 the movie with pei shan and lynette!
2) Orlando Bloom is HOT in this movie; no doubt about that :D
3) my parents bought me converse shoes!!
and this all happened on the lucky 28th of may!!

so ok. all i was missing was the sunglasses. it would have completed my super star look!!
but it costed $16.
i could afford it but i thought nevermind. later my mom would scold me for splurging the money.

the movie (pirates of the carribean) was AWESOME. it was hilarious, thrilling and full of high adventure!! the visuals and acting are award-winning!!
plus, orlando bloom's SIZZLING!!
hot hot hot HOT HOT!!
there was a part of the scene where he got stabbed; the long sword sticking out from his heart. i was like, NO!!!!
lynette and i screamed until pei shan told us to quit it.
but i mean, HELLO??!!
a handsome and charming guy gets stabbed by this hideous man with tentacles as a beard!!
of course, a person in her right mind, me, would instinctively scream.
especially if that man is Orlando Bloom.
so, i have every right to scream and yes, cry.
i admit that i cried.
lynette was clucthing her chest, trying to breathe normally.
pei shan? she was rolling her eyes, calling us dramatic.
however, he (orlando bloom) rose from the dead to replace Davy Jones and is now the Captain of the Flying Dutchman.
and in that scene, he was wearing this open-chest shirt with a scar over his heart.
i could have died (of shortness of breath) by his hotness.
so: whatever pei shan. if A gets stabbed, you would cry too, am i right??

after watching the film, and with much persuasion of pei shan and lynette, we once again made our way to N's house.
unfortunately, lynette received an urgent call and had to leave.
so that only leaves me and pei shan.
so we went there and fortunately, luck was on my side; not pei shan's.
N's door was closed and the windows were covered with blinds.
so we did not see him (yes!!!).
how many gazillion times must i tell you:
i do not like or love (or whatever you call it) N!!!
why?
1) he lacks initiative.
2) i found some one better.
3) i don't need him in my life.
4) i want to concentrate on my studies and orlando bloom.
5) he lacks initiative.
6) it is always me who makes the first darn move like e-mailing him, smsing him etc.
7) his ignorance pisses me
e.g he forgets my birthday
so yeah. i confirm it. i am totally over him.

i met my family in TM and we went shopping for shoes. my parents bought me Converse (casual) and Nike (school wear).

on the 26th May, i became a woman.
i went shopping with my friends!! (like, finally... -.-)

shahirah and michelle couldn't make it; too bad. so it was only me and pei shan; with my other best friend lynette coming along as well.
we met outside McDonalds (i mean, why there? i am still having the shivers from the movie "super size me") and walked around the second floor, with pei shan engrossed with the glittering jewellry (hello?? $15 for a pair of earrings?? yeah, right) until i pointed out that we can go to "Aries" in Century square; its much cheaper.
so we went there and i bought a pair of DROP EARRINGS for only what.....$2.90??
i am like, yes!! i fulfilled my destiny.
pei shan bought a heart necklace; lynette didn't buy anything.
initially, i wanted buy the rose studs and the black and white bracelet. but i decided against it because the DROP EARRINGS caught my attention. :D
er.........
i forgot where we went; we went through the whole of CS and TM! i bought 3 necklace-chains: 3 for $10 only!!
i wanted the gold-metallic-tinge $22 handbag; it matched the purse i bought; but i said "heck, never mind. later my mom scold.."
lynette also wanted to buy a bag but bought a myuk pencilcase instead.
after 4 hours of shopping, i debated in buying a blouse and a bag or maybe a pair of shoes!! we went to N's house; i can't believe i suggested it; pei shan and lynette pulled me in through the building! and we had to walk pass his unit.
unfortunately, the door and windows were open so i bailed out.
lynette walked passed, looked in and gagged. walk passed again.
pei shan was giggling; i wasn't happy.
in the end, i resented, walked passed his open window, pretending i was talking to the phone; stopping the urge to look inside. pei shan and lynette followed.
lynette told me he was eating something white from a frying pan at his study table; he looked darker; probably a sun tan.
after that, pei shan was like "oh my God! that's how he look like?! i expected him to be more.....you know, cuter.....he is just AVERAGE..."
of course, i back bited "as if A is cute..."
pei shan replied "he IS!"
anyway if you are wondering, i don't like N anymore....how many times must i say that??!!!
i tried provoking pei shan by saying "never mind. when i see A, i will steal him away from you!" of course, i was only joking. i don't steal my best friend's boyfriend.
unfortunately, she did not buy it but just boasted about sharing A STRAW with a GUY who is..... what 17 or 19 years old??!!!
as if it never happened to me.

at night, me and my sis watched Eragon.
and, i must say, i thought it would be an ordinary boring fantasy movie....but POOF!
the movie was awesome!! like Lord of the Rings!! :O
i thought heath ledger was inside!! turns out, nada. nil. nothing.
unfortunately the Eragon character, Ed Speleers was not really cute. only at the ending XD

we just stayed at home and ordered in pizza and made our eyes tired and head dizzy from watching TV for 4-5 hours.

by the way, me, lynette and pei shan would be watching pirates of the carribean 3 tomorrow. my friends cannot go because:-

today, after school, the five of us (korr yonghan, cuthbert di di, shahirah mei mei and pei shan mei mei) gathered at the school library just to, you know, talk.

before school dismissal, we had to do classroom clean-up. i just swept the floor and i was done.
later, i scrubbed the walls (i gave up a few minutes later after seeing 3 spiders; 2 of which i drowned in a pail of dirty water; ah hah! victory! die, spiders!!)
later, i went on to scratch away the vandalism on the table.
i really hate clean-ups. my class get 2x rowdy than usual. the same chaos, which included haikal and teck keong trying to clean the ceiling fan. dangerous.

maging sino ka man, my weekly favourite love soap opera, ended today. the last episode.
Eli woke up from his coma (thank goodness he did not die) and married his fiance, Jacky. Celine and JB are back together!! yay!! however the ending was surprising and was left hanging there. i think there would be a part 2 because JB's mother was beaten up very violently by Tomas (just realised he was a bad guy at the ending) and she hasn't reconcile with Celine. there was also a last minute villain placed at the last scene on Eli and Jacky's wedding.
i literally cried because i was touched and happy...
so....maging sino ka man part 2, bring it on!!

last week of school before the june holidays start!!!
ohh....i am giddy with excitement...

today was uneventful. during english lesson, our class was sucked into silence by just doing our composition corrections. i stared at my paper full of red markings and thought 'what's up with the marker who marked my paper???!!!'
you see, for every sentence (make that every word) the marker (she) has something negative to say. like when i used the word 'should' she scribbled "should is a too strong word"..... when i wrote 'since In-city mall is newly opened, i had trouble getting around..' and she wrote "so???"......also, for certain sentences, she practically underlined the whole paragraph.
i am like, sheesh. if you hate what i write, just burn the paper! no need to flood my paper with red ink; it'll be soaked, i tell you.
geography class was the same oh-so-tired nightmare. the whole class wasn't listening and pei shan was absorbed in readers' digest. while i, sitting in front, because i am such i good girl, listened to mr tan on how to measure trees with laser beams. few minutes later, however, i snatched the readers' digest away from pei shan and started reading myself. tee hee.
music was OK. we watched a video on what is going on behind the music industry (record companies, music arrangement...etc) and some guy called Yanni (new age music) music video. and oh yeah, SAY NO TO PIRACY!!! IF NOT, THERE WON'T BE MUSICAL ARTISTES!!! ESPECIALLY JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. UNDERSTAND??!!!! DO YOU HEAR ME PEOPLE???!!!!!
literature wasn't smooth; teacher made me yell to the class about what happened in the trial when Atticus defended Tom Robinson (as if i don't know 'to kill a mockingbird'. my primary five teacher made my class read the book. and it was Bob Ewell's fault Mayella's hurt; Tom Robinson did NOT rape her) hey, i had a cold and SORE THROAT!!! you expect me to SHOUT??? really. it's getting on my nerves.
bio class was OK in the beginning. we had to plant some seeds. sha and michelle chose lady's fingers whereas me and pei shan chose Roselle. heck, i don't even know what it is- but it has a nice name, according to pei shan.
then, we went out to the garden to pile up some dead leaves so that it can add nutrients to the soil when it decomposes. when we reached the classroom, however, miss lela wasn't happy with our behaviour (no sursprise there. our class would make every teacher mad) and made us do a germination report for the holidays.
way to go, 2E. (i meant that sarcastically).

i failed literaure. i did. i can't believe it. it's like recovering from a break-up. of course, me, being normal, cried over the bad result. why did i fail? i mis-understood the question. next time, if that happens again, i will complain to the paper setters.
plus, i am a good literature student. i can't possibly fail literature. not in my life. ever.
it turns out that instead of having an A2 in english (i rejoiced) i got a B3. calculation error. my mom pointed it out :(
i was so happy i passed chinese. i mean, hello? after i did the paper, i slept. i did not bother to look through because i know i will fail as usual. plus, the previous night before the exam, i was busy trying to fund out the best way to tear my assessment; no time to studying properly. luck, i guess. pei shan was seething. "i studied but failed
OVERALL. you passed but did not even
STUDY...."my history deproved by a grade but i still managed to secure a dstinction. yay me. overall i might get an A1 anyway.
geog was a surprise though. i thought i would get an A2 or B3 but i got an A1. i found that the paper was marked leniently.....but who cares? more for me!

with help from pei shan's voucher, i got a very nice dress-shirt for only $10.
with help from miss lina, i checked the product and found that it had good workmanship (homec knowledge).
with help from the shopkeeper of Victoria Jomo (i forgot the name), the dress-shirt was worth more than $10 as it was designer-wear.
pei shan, i swear i am going to get you an awesome birthday present for thanks to the dress-shirt you gave me. i love you!!!

on may 14, we (me, sha, pei shan, michelle, cuthbert and moses) went to cinema to watch spiderman in celebration of michelle's 15th birthday! happy birthday michelle! hope you like my present!!
we took the 2.15pm slot instead of the 1.30pm slot because there were no more available seats; either we watch at a later time or seat 2-3 rows from the screen.
we spent the time waiting, by playing at the arcade till 2pm and then headed back to the cinema.
the movie was OK. i posted a review on it in yahoo, go see. 'delicious_pau93'
after 2.5 hours, we went to the neoprint shop (with much fussing from pei shan; she practically dragged us in there!!) and took neos.
next, we headed to the wallet shop to choose a wallet for moses; he wanted to buy one. we went to Mcdonalds then Old Chang Kee then went home.

my mom awoken me in the wee hours of the morning at may 15. i did not know why she did it; until minutes later, it dawned to me that it was school!!
i totally forgot.
heritage tour was cancelled because of the rain (yeah!!)
but we got stuck in the hall for two torturing hours (boo!!)- and boy did my legs cram up!!
we were supposed to have lessons today but no teacher came to our class for the remaining 4 hours; my notorious class did as much wreck as possible (no surprise there) while i slept soundly for an hour, i think :)
it turned out i had no CCA so i went home and watched my usual sappy love soap operas.

yesterday, on friday, i wanted to go to tampines mall with michelle, shahirah and pei shan.
unfortunately, michelle last minute back out, saying she got something on and sha injured her her leg so she couldn't go.

i mean, how evil can she get? i badly wanted to go out because i might die of boredom any second but she refused. does anyone ever ever sympathise me?
so i ended up going to the mall with my mom and sis.

on 5.30pm yesterday, my mom and i made our very own banana milkshake.
it was a complete disaster.
once we assembled the blender, we poured in the ingredients- banana slices, ice and the evaporated milk. the milk seeped through the jar and splashed everywhere!! my mom and i took a long time to clean up.
second try was a little bit better, we managed to lock the opening so this time, milk did not spill. however, mom forgot to remove the lid so the milk spilt AGAIN.
nevertheless, the milk was sweet and yummy... :D

that's the girls first impression. its obvious. you see a drop-dead-gorgeous guy, girls would squeal or swoon. you see an ugly one, nobody notices. it's as if that poor guy is invisible.
the guy has to be a little flirtatous. it turns the girls on. yes i know what you are thinking. you think i'm weird. ok, whatever. i mean, come on, let's face it girls, would you like to date a guy who's boring..? there's no excitement!!!

in the east coast of singapore, temasek secondary school is facing a huge crisis.....!!
EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY.....
students were heard in corridors, chatting away happily while others made way to the bus stop; some made a bee-line to the nearest 7 eleven...
said a happy shahirah: "my exams are NEARLY over; i still have to sit for my malay listening comprehension exam"

my opinion on the papers:
chinese composition was OK. i had to keep flipping through the dictionary because my chinese vocabulary is so poor. for every sentence, flip. flip here flip there. i hope to pass this paper.
english composition was horrible; for the complaint letter, i felt that i written too much and for the essay, i had a hard time choosing which question i wanted to do. i think i wasted 10 percious minutes. in the end, i half-heartedly settled on question 5, describing a scene at a mall. i can't afford to get low marks for this.
geography was OK, even though i did not have enough time to check....i just finished all the questions and a few seconds later, the invigilator told us to put our pens down. i hope to get A1 and not a stinkin' A2.
english comprehension was OK.
science paper. sigh. i didn't study enough for chemistry; all the 'valency' and 'ions' and 'electronic structure' thing made me so confused. despite this, the chem paper was OK. bio was not to bad; i know the process of digestion at the tip of my fingers. for the test, we had to write a structured question- a mini essay. easy. i hated the physics paper. the first part was OK, until it came to calculating resistance and voltage and current. i couldn't think well. in the end, i just calculated anyhow and wrote my answer. i think i am going to fail in that section.
mrs tan bee bee lost our project. worse, she lost pei shan's thumbdrive. i never seen pei shan so mad. she even called her father to come to school to settle the matter; demand for reimbursement? mrs tan bee bee refused to pay up.
i have no idea why my school's HOD is not thinking properly....i mean, put history and home economics together in one day???? erm, hello!!!! are our minds computerized that can store a lot of memory????
so, obviously, you can't put both the subjects together for exam.
but nooo, they have to be so ~#%^&*** to put them on the same day.
so everyone had to stay up past 11 to put all the information of history and home economics into our very small brains. i could have nearly died of brain explosion.
of course, fortunate for me, my brain has a strong memory power and i can memorise the whole book- both history and homec. stupid, i know.
the homec paper was easy. (yup, with ALL the information stored in my mighty brain).....i expect to get A1.
history was quite challenging. i wrote a lot. it's like i have written a novel or something. i raced against time. for the last 45 minutes, i did SBQ question. for part (b), which is 7 marks, i only wrote a small paragraph.....no time, you see. i was rushing but i managed to finish the paper on time....
literature was unusual. on the previous night, a strange prickly thought struck me. "i think, for the essay question, they would test on either 'relationships' or the 'theme'.....cannot be on characteristics....it's too easy....." so, following my instincts i last minute wrote down the necessary notes, went to sleep, and studied in the bus.
guess what? it came out. it did. i rejoiced silently. then i did the paper. literaure was the only paper that i can rest, check through, rest again.....and still have enough time to sleep :) i wrote only 2 pages on each question but when i looked around, i saw other people writing twice as much as me, especially rachael. i panicked. i thought i missed out a question. i checked again. no what. i did not miss out anything......weird.
math paper two and chinese on the same day.
how idiotic can it ever get??? i studied for math thoroughly, with the exception of congruency and similarity... i hate that topic. why on earth there was ever such a mathematical topic such as congruency. similarity is worse. and i don't understand angles of polygons, and solving unknown length of similar figures.
and, because of that, i did not study for chinese. i hate chinese even more. it's even worse than a bird shitting on me, even though it never actually happened.

i was so stressed i cried. i vented out my anger by tearing my chinese assessment (ohh...it felt so good....yup. i literally tore it. there's a big gash on the book spine), throwing my chinese book here and there. in the end, i never studied. of course, what do you think? they expect us to memorise 80 idioms?? it's IDIOTIC. once again, the HOD who set the darn paper think we are superman or jimmy neutron.
but, who cares? i'm gonna fail anyway.
the math paper was OK- some questions i didn't know how to do though. stupid polygons came out.
chinese paper was worse. i did not know how to do half the paper at all. guess i'm not the only one. everyone thought so too.

1) hilary duff and lindsay lohan are friends again; they totally forgive each other for dating aaron carter, each.
aaron who??? haha. something like that
2) john mayer and jessica simpson (divorced to nick lachey) are together. this feels so wrong to me. plus, he gave her a theasaurus (a kind of dictionary- not dinosaur) as a present on no special occasion at a party. everyone thought it was rude (you know....that gesture is trying to tell her she's really dumb) but she laughed anyway.
3) james blunt ('you're beautiful'....you know that guy? yup. that is him) was not charged for running his car over a reporter's foot. yikes
4) paris hilton will attend a hearing because she has been driving with an expired license; if i'm not wrong. lol. she'll look horrid in orange.
