cuthbert said they were locking up the range so we had to get our bags out and go home (sha had to stay back till 5.30 and we could not wait for her).
i am still in the process of completing my homework, mind you.
and moreover, my mom does not and still will not allow me near the laptop or TV every weekday night.

the last few days before my birthday was a blast- my parents finally stopped fighting and i already booked tickets to watch Harry Potter. yeah!!
firstly, on my birthday (which was on a sunday), i had to go to cathechism class for my bible study programme. my class was split into groups- and i, unfortunately, was the group leader. i had neville, shawn and darren in my group. no girls. G-R-E-A-T.
surprisingly, we finished our discussion quickly and we talked about personal things like Harry Potter (neville said the girl who acted as Cho Chang was hot), what is our secondary schools and CCA and form teachers.
i told the boys i was in modern dance and one of them actually asked whether i could breakdance on my head. haha. it was so funny. cornelius (my classmate who was a group leader in another group) had a hard time managing his group who most of them responded to his questions "i don't know".
after class, i went home to refreshen up and went to eat out at Bali Thai with my mom and sis (my dad and my bro went out to watch Transformers). yummy thai food!!!
with lunch done, i went down to Mac to meet up with my girlfriends to shop!!! yeah. it was so crowded in Metro (closing sale going on) and i ended up buying silver hoops (Aries) and a nice blouse (stall outside converse) which came with a stretchable seqin belt and cost less than $25!!!
met up with the guys for the movie; cuthbert was late and everyone was fuming. rushed in the cinema to find 2 indian men seating on our seats until they realised they were in the wrong cinema hall -.-
Harry Potter was great!!! i loved the show!! michelle practically hid her face during the kissing scene. haha.
took neos and went home and eat my chocolate birthday cake :)
and that officially concludes how i celebrated my birthday.

on tuesday, dance SYF performed at our hall. they were awesome, especially Yong han and khaikal. pin cheng did pretty well too.
today was OK. i beat pei shan in the chemistry test. yay!! i got 41.5/45. A1!!!!!
IT was fun!! mich, ps and sha and i kept laughing our heads off because the body of our animation character was either disfigured or wore a diaper. haha!
also, mrs audrey ho informed our class about some ballet-swan ice skating thing at the esplanade and asked who were interested to join. i am so going.

rushed to 9am school. nearly died, nearly sprained my ankle, and i had a really bad hair day.

cried because i could not take the pressure. why are they so selfish?
**i want to say a big thank you to cuthbert, pei shan and shahirah for sacrificing nearly an hour and skipping the buses home just to sympathise with me. i really love you guys :) you made me realise miracles do happen.

today is friday the 13th; but i am not superstitious. in fact, today was lucky for me. why?
1) woke up kinda late but managed to catch the 7 o' clock bus and reached school in time.
2) we have no math homework.
3) no cca.
4) pei shan and shahirah and i went to 7-eleven and we even went to the kiddy playground to play on the slides and stuff.....we are still kids at heart!!
5) we saw a cat :) **meow**

why are parents so selfish sometimes?
when they say "Son, your mom and i feel a divorce will make things better" or maybe even "Pauline, who do you want to live with?"
they think they are doing the right thing but in actual fact, no.
do they care what is in our teenage minds?? they just dont understand. they dont know how we feel. they think we dont care but we do.
it seems every now and then, i feel my friends are more like my real family. they know a lot more about me. they sacrifice spending $9.50 for a movie ticket. they sacrifice their time to tutor you and stuff......
so parents, dont be selfish. stop to think what you want to say and remember other people's feelings too.

here in temasek computer lab once again.
i have completed my chemistry worksheet in school so i have no homework tonight.
so now i can watch TeeNick. yeah. 2 full straight hours of my favourite show starring cute boys like michael seater (life with derek) and matthew underwood (zoey 101).

oh yeah. did i mention that i have tuition at 4.30?? great.

what i have accomplished today:
- awoken and irritated my sister 20 minutes straight at 9.45 till 10.05 am by singing cartoon songs, having pillow fights which involve mild kicking.
- my homework

yesterday, at dance class was funny! while we were doing warm-ups, mr jerard came in. so ms jacqueline asked us to sing out "Rush Rush" (paula abdul song). i guess teacher loved it. he kept smiling.
yong han and pin cheng amazed me.
believe it or not, pin cheng dance as a couple with a girl and actually carried her!!
and i was like "whoa. he did not drop her or anything. i guess i underestimated him."
i felt bad because he was constantly being bullied in my class and now here he was, dancing gracefully, carrying a girl. he seems almost human.
yong han made me laugh. a lot. the SYF group was dancing to the Singapore song and he had to enter the stage carrying a cardboard radio, bring in the hip hop beat like those rappers. he was like sauntering, rocking his head forward and back. hilarious.
plus, i was at the bus stop, with cuthbert and si tian, hiding from mr sara who was across the street beacuse i tucked out my dance shirt.

today was alright. since i completed most of my homework at school after cca, i only had jian bao and D&T research.

friday was horrible, who was i kidding? she and i fought. i know. we always fight, debate, whatever you might call it. but no. this is a biggie. a big horrible one.
first late me state the reasons why i am so mad at her:
-she totally took advantage of me- when she did not know a maths problem sum, i offered to explain to her and when i did, she just snatched my paper away and copied the quadratic equation.
-when she asked me what was the chemical symbol of tin, i helped her search in my textbook when in actual fact, she had her own science textbook on her table.
-when i asked her what was the valency of tin, she replied in an irritated way "2 lahh! yan li already told me!!"
-when i asked her to help me balance the chemistry equation, she seemed reluctant and actually told me "balancing is so easy!! one look can tell! are you that slow??"
i actually felt insulted. she might as well say i am stupid.
she keeps boasting to me: new dress.....blah blah...
in actual fact, i am so pissed and irritated rather than jealous.
however the worse has yet to come.
she actually told my friends that only 1/4 of christians will go to heaven while the rest go to hell. i was shocked. my friend started panicking- he is not christian but buddhist and started moaning "huh??!! but i don't want to go to hell!"
of course i was so mad. even if i am a Catholic, i know what she said was wrong because God teaches us to respect one another's beliefs. she is trying to indirectly tell us to convert if we want to go to heaven. in that way, people will actually doubt their religions!!
so, to that person, i hope you realise your mistake and change for the better. God Bless.

so ok. what happens when a friend invites you to go to a theme park, your mom does not let you go, and finally, when she relents, you go, but end up being grounded??
oh. that so happened to me on YOUTH DAY; the day i should celebrate being a teenager, you know.
the day i am supposed to earn my freedom.

on that fateful day, yong han called my cellphone and invited me to go to escape theme park with the 8 of us.
so i said ok, i'll check with my mum.
what did she say?
"no. you have chinese tuition"
GREAT.
i felt miserable the whole day (feeling completely sulky) and called up pei shan and lynette for their sympathy.
i did not need to persuade her at all. she would let me go on one condition: complete my chinese homework and be back at 4. i agreed.
the day came and i was so excited to be free to go out (besides always tampines mall), and the minute i went out, i screamed "i am a free woman!!!" my mom could not hear me, of course, because there was a loud construction with all the drilling and stuff.
pei shan's father picked me up and the fun began.
yong han was late and when we reached inside, he straight away made a beeline to the inverter 360. we got on the ride and it took a long time to start because everyone had to remove loose items. pei shan removed her slippers while i removed my spectacles.
the ride was so scary!! first we were carried like 20 metres above the ground and we were spun around like mad; back and forth. i closed my eyes and screamed, of course. it seemed like the most natural thing to do.
after that, pei shan complained i was screaming into her ear. sorry about that.
we also went go karting, wet and wild (yong han and i had a leaf-fight),
haunted house (i screamed when i saw a ghost until i realised it was a normal person),
the flipper (this was the time i kept screaming and pei shan was so pissed off; fadhil, meanwhile was being squashed by yong han),
family coaster (yong han was the worst roller coaster partner ever; he kept squashing me and pei shan did not want to give up her right seat),
ferris wheel etc....
it was so fun!!! i cannot describe it. i did not want it to end!!!
plus, we were being squirted with water by litte kids :DD
i went home late because of unforseen circumstances and reached home at 5.40pm. so of course my mom grounded me. she said no handphone and computer for the whole week and she cut off my allowance.
great. but just yesterday she gave my handphone back and told me to watch what i was doing or else.

i was late for school today.
it was not my fault!! the bus was soo crowded and i had to catch a later one which came after 15minutes!!
so mr sara gave us a last chance because this was the first wednesday we report to school at 9.
haikal was late too. marcus received a scolding from mr cuthbert about wearing his pants so low.
right now i am typing on my blog, in my school computer lab, freezing to death because of the low temperature.
