using my highly intellectual brain, i can describe my week in just one word: SWEET!
never in my life have i felt my burden lift!!
monday and tuesday i can't remember much about what had happened....nor wednesday. but i remembered on thursday we had our literature drama and everyone complimented me on acting well (or maybe because of something else?? haha. *winks*) anyway, before that, i was so panicky, rushing to put on my skit clothes, that i dropped my hair clip IN the toilet bowl. i was making a scene, crying out in anguish at the toilet. eventually, i went up the dance studio to find cuthbert and the boys lecturing me about how late i was and that our teacher has penalised us for that. bah. as if you dare reach inside the toilet bowl and fish out my hair clip like that. i'd like to see you try!
today was quite uneventful. me, michelle, shahirah and cuthbert were gossiping so hard, i nearly died of laughing! haha XD. since shahirah and michelle didn't go for CCA (shahirah had a doctor appointment and michelle had no CCA and the only person i could talk to was cuthbert who was busy trying to ignore me -.-) i went to the computer lab and hanged out with grace. we practised playing the keyboard :)
dance was exhausting! normally, the warm ups are intensive but today was worse. mr jerard made us lift both our legs up in the air while we were lying on our backs and i was shaking badly- my stomach hurt. but nonetheless, it was fun. he continued cheographing the bridge and chorus of justin timberlake's 'sexy back'. it was funny when he did the shimmer (involves shaking the hips and wrapping 2 arms around his own body)..haha.
i went home early and continued my library book: "The Da Vin Ci Code" by Dan Brown....its interesting. i can't put it down :D

on saturday, me and cuthbert went to pei shan's house to rehearse the literaure drama. we were kinda late because we were stuck at the traffic jam*. moses came in a bit later then we had donuts.
i love donuts. i really do. they come in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate crisps etc.
pei shan's sister kept annoying her. yay. at the rate we are going (we teasing pei shan at school, her sister teases her at home) she'll be pissed off 24/7. muhahaha. i am so bad XD.
sunday (today) cathechism class in church was so fun!! darren brought in lays potato chips for our bible study group so me, naville, denise, shawn stuffed ourselves. nicholas didn't want any- and i didn't know why.
haha. naville was so blur. there was a some print on the front of the packet that read "0% trans fat" and he was like "see stephen and cornelious? no fat!!" until i told him there was STILL fat- not only trans but saturated. it was so obvious he didn't pay attention in home economics class -.-
attended youth mass. it talked about the 7 deadly sins: gluttony, lust, sloth, anger, envy...
bah!! i forgot!! -.- i can't remember.....
oh well. we humans are ridden with sins anyway. we are what we call imperfect.

mr teo praised me for the good D&T work and told me i should be a designer when i grow up. he asked me where i came from and when i said from the Philipines, he gave a start. he told me (and Yan Li) that filipinos are very talented, especially in singing and drawing (my uncle is an artist; my aunt can sing and my cousin is in a band). haha. Yan Li was like "really meh?" i was quite embarrassed. during the lesson, i suddenly felt homesick. i wanted to go back to Philippines!
thursday 16 Aug:
had physics test. also stayed back after school to retake chinese spelling (who were those who never study, hah?? all your fault. i already passed in the previous test but teacher made the WHOLE CLASS redo. all your fault people!!). me, pei shan, moses and cuthbert stayed back for rehearsal for our literaure drama but we (me and pei shan) ended lecturing the boys. cuthbert kept complaining his lines were too long. great.
friday 17 Aug:
one word: PAR-TAE (party, doofus -.-) fadhil's last day was today so we partied. yea. no maths and only 30 min of english. this was the first time i saw mrs verma smile.. haha. and mr soh bought a chocolate cake and shunned away from everyone's cameras because he hasn't shaved (presently, he is sporting a moustache) everyone was screaming at each other to take photos. i took pictures with shahirah, michelle, pei shan, moses, yong han, cuthbert, fadhil, pin cheng, sherry, ahmad, mark....... and soon class pic. the whole class. most of the people were standing on top of the table, their heads barely coming in contact with the ceiling fans!! wakaka...so fun. fridays rock XD
anyway, there was no dance CCA today but i stayed back at the dance studio to pratice the 3 dance routines (with help from Fu Pin Cheng). also went to 7-eleven with pei shan.
felt terrible this whole evening because of some people who can't figure out their mistakes but continue scolding other people on their classmate's tagboard, people who scold me vulgar over that darn literaraure script (you know who you are)....and who boast they got a new bag.... (not really mad at you, shahirah, you deserve it :D)
great. lynette's the only friend who i can lean on and trust now.
i never felt more alone than ever.

on sunday, pei shan couldn't make it to our shopping trip so christina accompanied me instead.
i've never went out with chris, just the two of us. it seemed akward and weird but when i met her outside Espirit, she was like "ooh. top pink bottom blue!"
haha. i love her shirt ($9.90 only from metro!!) and we headed to chubby L (in CS) and i bought the $20 shirt (brown tee which cuts and exposes the shoulders. neck supported by strings which cross each other).
chris also bought new pumps (she was taking a very long time to choose lor -.- black with white polka dots or white with black polka dots? ended up she chose the white ones.
went down to Bega where i bought a thin white belt ($5) and went to montip to buy accessories.
i even took a longer time than chris. i was deciding on a bling bling ($8.90) or the black neclace ($4.90)....ended up i bought the ring which looks a lot like vanessa hudgen's in her music video. but instead of orange, i chose black.
after that, we went to TM and went through every floor to scour for presents before retiring to Mac. since i had some money left, we went to the bus interchange and bought the same turquoise stretchy tube (i know i hate people who wear or have the same things as me but this is an exception!! the tube is really cute and we both vow never to wear it on the same day XD)
i look forward to going shopping with chris again.
and FIY, when you go shopping and you find this really nice thing that you like but you can't buy it now, write out the shop's name and the item and save it as a note in your handphone. chris initially thought it was weird but i proved to her the list was very helpful.
hah. told you so -.-

on the 8th of august, i went to school wearing red and white (a red sleeveless top over a white shirt- it was national day, of course) and Cuthbert commented i was too glam.
oh haha yeah right. what about ahem ahem? she was wearing short shorts and a high cut converse shoe!! its a wonder she was never caught by our DM...
we first went to the hall for the concert. it was OK. me, pei shan and michelle were waving our hands in tune to the song (shahirah couldn't make it to school because she was ill. boo!) then we headed to the field for the telematch.
i still can't believe that my class managers balloted me and pei shan's name into the game. i highly doubted it.
anyway, it was burning hot and me and pei shan were worried we might contract the deadly skin cancer. thank goodness i wasn't sunburnt.
eventually, me and pei shan decided we go ahead and participate the telematch.
it was quite fun- if it weren't for the intense heat. Cuthbert's group had to pass each other rubber bands through the straws in their mouths, then khishal and his group had to hop to the other station with their legs bundled up with raffa strings and pei shan's group had to shoot stacked up cans with a tennis ball (blind-folded mind you) and hop in sack over to our group who had to rearrange some puzzle.
i think we were last. yet i do not feel disgraced. hah.
went back home and bathe and met up with pei shan, her brother, jing jie, moses, fadhil and yong han to watch the simpsons movie.
it was so crude!! haha. but funny in a sense. you're like laughing at every moment ;)
yesterday, i did homework and today too. nearly bored to death if you ask me. i drooled on my maths textbook because i fell asleep doing graphs.
but i so totally dont care about graphs.
was awakened by the buzzing of my handphone near my skin because michelle smsed me ;(
anyway, my mom ordered in breaded prawns from old chang kee and i had to attend to the delivery man. he gave me the box and a slip of paper to sign my name on. after that, i nearly closed the door until i saw him staring at me as though i were a nut case.
i had forgotten to pay him money.
i nearly laughed out loud at my mistake. i paid him the money, feeling pai seh.
to all the people out there ordering in food, remember: pay the delivery man money or else they think we are cheating them or something of that sort.

tuesday:
i went back to school- already recovered from illness. after lessons, the sec 1's to 3's went to ang mo kio hub to celebrate 'break for charity' (my family bought the whole 2 booklets and nope, i did not bother to sell). we broke 2 world records (or was it in singapore only? can't remember) the tallest house of cards (4.5m) and the most number of people eating chocolate at the same time. the President came down as well to join in the occasion! Jensen (radio DJ) from power 98 was there too and we all had to do the YMCA dance and watch our own fellow school mates grove and 'shake their thang' at stage. michelle kept laughing :)
we had to blow this 'cheering balloon' thing and pin cheng kept hitting it on me and pei shan's head -.-
me and michelle chowed down pepper rice at the pepper rice restaurant (the food's really nice!! they put raw meat and rice in this hot sizzling black pot and when you mix the meat with corn-and-pepper rice, you are cooking it. it's really hot. i selected beef- michelle, chicken. and plus, i burnt my tongue -.- ) and later met pei shan, shahirah, grace, fadhil, yong han and jing jie at Mac.
i know. i know. why not eat in Mac? hello!! it's fast food, aka fattening but that's not the main point. i am a rice person. i love rice. so does michelle. what'cha gonna do about it??
took the MRT home.
wednesday:
mdm tan gave us back our chemistry retest papers- i got full marks and so did pei shan. because of that (somebody cheated last week and we had to do the retest), there was this huge and dramatic commotion and everyone starts taking sides. some people said pei shan should have kept quiet about the cheater and were angry at her (they did not want the retest). some people supported the idea of the re-test. some people supported pei shan's idea of telling mdm tan about the cheater. khishal even had the guts to stand up, support pei shan, and say "mdm tan, i saw the valency table in her (the cheater ahem ahem) pencilbox."
i never thought he would do that. ever.
it's a shock i can never recover from. seriously.
and plus, i don't take sides. i did not see the cheater cheat so i couldn't tell. i did not want a re-test but because of that, i did better than before.
so either way, i win in both occasions :)
and pei shan, cheer up. you did the right thing. and if it's going to cost you condemnation, let it be. God will guide you all the way :)
thursday:
sat for my chinese test after school because i was absent last friday. i found it OK. i hope to pass.
friday:
sat for history test (pei shan i am going to beat you!!) and english test (still going to beat you!!). yong han left for home after history period because he was sick (get well korr!). dance cca was cancelled (well kinda. nobody went and everyone pon -.- ) so pei shan and i dropped by tampines mall for a while to window shop.
today nothing much happened. did some of my homework (i refuse to touch my math tutorial and graph papers...), had chinese tuition and just sent 2 jokes to readers' digest.
hurry quick. i want the money (US $100 per joke) sent to me asap so i can shop till i drop dead.
