ok. this is my third post of the day but i am here to comment on the movie 'Ocean's Thirteen' i watched yesterday (i think. i can't really remember. i lost track of the time..)

to be a woman, i must break free from watching silly cartoons and watch more appropriate shows and movies my age LIKE HALLMARK or something.

*sticks out tongue* c'mon, i still watch spongebob.

anyway, it not really hard to comprehend what was going on. one of Danny Ocean's pals got sick (i can't remember the name....was it Reuben??) this was triggered by the fact that a man (Bank) double-crossed him, made him do all the work in planning the opening of a casino but did not welcome the partnership (something like that. i cant remember).

so Danny and his gang take revenge. how? by making sure the casino loses money and gets a very bad review by a VIP.

this is hilarious. i mean, poison the bed sheets and sofas in the room so that the VIP gets pissed off and gives a bad report? REALLY COOL SABOTAGE THERE.

also, their outside 'connections' make sure they win in every casino game. how? the dice is made of a certain substance and the gang use a device (which looks like a match lighter) to control the movements of the dice. pretty cool huh? that's what i call professional cheating.

they also adjust the machinery underground to cause an earthquake to cut off the security measures in the bank (this very high tech machine monitors body temperature, pupil dilation to ensure nobody in the casino cheats...you get the idea?)

my favourite parts:-

when Danny and Rusty cried while watching Opera.

when Linus (is that the correct spelling? the Matt Damon character) had to seduce Bank's assistant Ellen but ended up being caught by his own father who posed as an FBI agent.

when Linus suggested to Ocean to HIRE AND PAY SOMEONE TO READ to sick Reuben.

when Rusty purposely let the VIP (i think it was Dr Stan) win a game in the airport and he won 11 million dollars.

in the end, the casino lost a lot of money (half a billion or million? to be exact) and the VIP did not give a very good report and thus Bank was unable to win the 5 diamond award.

love every Ocean movie!!
