ok today my mom didn't let me go out to bugis to window shop- i had to stay home because of the chilly weather since my mom didn't want me caught in a storm...

geez. oh well.

watched Batman Begins.

loved it. i can't wait for the next Batman movie (starring the Joker) to come out sometime next year, i think.

i went into my bedroom just now and screamed because i thought i saw a bat.

gotta really stop watching Batman.

ok so nothing much happened today; i just did a bit of homework and fiddled with my brother's magic cube- i managed to get 2 sides of the same color but later i twisted it up again.

sigh. it's tougher than it looks!!

anyway i decided to blog about one of my favourite nickelodeon TEENick shows- Zoey 101.

GIRLS.

Zoey:

-really pretty girl, very helpful and kind, popular, sort of person who listens, understands and sympathizes, creative and a good designer.

person i know who is a lot like Zoey: Michelle (the pretty and helpful part) and Shahirah (the sympathizes part)

Lola:

-pretty, fashionable, ambitious and dramatic, wants to be an actress someday

person i know who is a lot like Lola: ME!! why? i am so dramatic. overly, to be exact. she kept screaming like mad when she saw bees, pretty much like me.

Nicole:

-straight A student, fashionable, pretty, kind and boy crazy.

person i know who is a lot like Nicole: me, michelle and pei shan (the straight A and boy crazy part!!)

Quinn:

-extraordinary genius, weird, pretty (even though she wears glasses) and sensitive.

person i know who is a lot like Quinn: shahirah (the sensitive part :D)

Dana: (removed from season 1's show)

-tomboyish who likes to play sports, pretty, quite thoughtless and loves competition

person i know who is a lot like Dana: pei shan (loves competition)

Logan:

-very concerned about his image, attention seeker, handsome, stuck up rich gerk, fetches a lot of hot chicks

person i know who is a lot like Logan: yong han (concerned about his image part) and pei shan (rich part)

Chase:

-friendly, popular (has a lot of friends who are girls), understanding and quite emotional guy.

Michael:

-funny guy, always likes to crack jokes and have loads of fun, lends a listening ear

person i know who is a lot like Michael: yong han because he's so funny!! XD

and finally...

Zoey's brother (i forgot his name)

-quiet sorta guy who loves to mingle with both sexes, cheeky when no one's looking, looks innocent, hardworking in his studies

haha. i love their school, man!!

they have dorms and the campus is really big, you can ride your own scooter here and there!! students can sit under trees or benches and do their homework....

they also have lounges. there are radioes and TVs there!!! oh oh oh i want to school at PCA (pacific coast academy-it used to be a boys school but now they let girls in...)

those lucky americans who get to star in Zoey 101!!

i haven't blog for awhile....been going out and slacking so much i was too lazy to boot up the com and type.

haiz. a lot has happened:-

1. went out with chris to suntec city and marina square to shop. YES. shop again. bought a black halter neck tee and she bought denim shorts. i think i mighta mentioned that.

2. went out with my sis to eastpoint to window shop and scour for bags. ate peanut butter waffle YUM!! and i constantly whined for the whole day because i saw a nice $10 shirt but could not buy it because i know my mom would scold.

3. went to school with my dad to buy my sec 3 books- the math and science books are so darn thick!! what if i have science AND math at the same day??? i am so gonna die under the heavy weight!!

4. went out with my family to eat at a filipino restaurant (JoLogs)- the beef was SO delicious- i ate until i was SO full :P

5. went cycling with my sis. since i've grown, i had to use my dad's bike. the seat was too tall and my butt hurt! :(

couldn't steady at first as it's been quite a while since i cycled. i fell 2 times T.T

6. watched enchanted with lynette and my sis. we were late in booking so we missed out the starting!! :(

oh well. at least i caught the show!

7. at mom's treat, we went shopping (YES AGAIN I KNOW. I KEEP SHOPPING. IT MAKES ME HAPPY, I'LL ADMIT IT!!) at tampines mall's ice lemon tee. they are having a clearance sale and the great shirts they sell is only $11!!

i bought a summer print dress and denim mini skirt YAY!!

i wonder if i'll go shopping (AGAIN) in the philippines....

what else arh? sigh. so much happened and i forgot. sorry :)

anyway, THE PARTY. cancelled it. out of my budget. too much time taken up to prepare something that is only a few hours of fun so it isn't worth it right?

BUT BUT BUT NEVER MIND. instead of a party, i'll organise a bowling outing at tampines safra.

i mean, WHY NOT?? a game is like only $3 and there's a cool snack bar...

so a bowling outing it is.

i'll send out the invites :)

just thought of something....

next year all the guys would be wearing pants!!

ooo.....i wanna see how they look like HAHA!!

i'm used to seeing them in shorts...

mom asked Roxanne (my uncle's bride-to-be) to schedule a rebonding session on Dec 26.

YAY!! makeover!!!

this has something to do with the voodoo doll luck keychain my sis bought for me because she lost in a dare.

trying to plan a party. haven't made much progress. i still cannot find a suitable location!!

and plus, this happens based on my mother's mood. if she's unhappy or pissed, she'll just cancel the whole thing.

on sunday, me and chris decided to help sell advent wreaths in our church. stephen and marcus were there and they made sales- stephen 5, marcus 2...i think.

me leh? nothing. nil. nada. chris also (:

everytime i go up to some one and ask "Excuse me. would you like to buy an advent wreath?" its either the people say 'no thank you', walk off and/or ignore me.

i really hate rejection.

stephen had to rub it in my face some more!

i am TRYING, you know. geez.

went to mass with my family and after that my mom wanted to go to marina square.

why? i had no idea. we normally go to tampines mall.

ate at Kenny Roger's (i love the chicken) and went window shopping.

i really love the branded store- BeBe. i was like, trying out the mini skirt which costs $169.

there are so many nice clothes!! tubes, tunics, dresses, flats, pumps, bags, belts, shirts (a simple shirt costs $89, by the way) but i can't afford it.

boo :(

later we went all the way to suntec city to drop by donut factory to buy donuts T.T

dad's idea.

at night, me and my sis watched Just My Luck on DVD starring Lindsay Lohan and HOT Chris Pine XD

on monday i was supposed to be doing homework but i read a book instead.

mom didn't know (:

watched Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous on DVD that night.

today i completed my chinese book review (YAY!!!) and me and my bro painted.

actually, i painted and my bro made a mess, but whatever.

i painted a fashion show (haha. yep i am nuts)- the models, the clothes and the people.

my bro painted the singapore flag T.T then later threw it away because he didn't like it.

it's so like wasting my paint HELLO!!!

oh well.

i am so excited about my uncle's wedding on Dec 31 (the last day of the year. what are the odds? :D)

me and my sister's dresses would be designed and made by private wedding dress makers.

not forgetting my bro's tux.

1. i can't go to teri's ice skating outing because i can't skate (wait till i go to canada and learn to skate AND ski)

2. my brother's maniac laughter and obsession with the vintage flying car (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) is driving me nuts.

3. i finally bought December issue of 17 magazine (YAY!!)

4. i am thinking of re-manicuring my nails blue. (is blue nice?)

5. i want to get a weave after O levels, before i leave for canada (like Jessica Alba)

6. i am in dire need of more clothes.

7. me and my sister BOTH lost the dare so now i have to call some boy, get embarrassing pictures of myself posted on the net and have to shout i am crazy outside my window.

8. the good part? my sis is going to tell me who she likes, call him, buy me a present and
DANCE for 3 min (1 full song) while i tape her. unfortunately, i can't post the video on the internet.

9. i am so nuts over Cartoon Network's Batman Series that i don't miss it every weekday at 6pm (i also watched the premiere Batman Beyond Return of the Joker and it rocks!)

10. i need to watch Bee Movie, National Treasure the Book of Secrets, Enchanted, Fred Claus and the Golden Compass in the cinemas!!

watched bratz with shahirah. we were supposed to watch stardust (again for me) but the timing was really late.

i don't really like teen chick flicks (if you know what i'm saying) since Lindsay Lohan's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls (i hated those shows. really really boring)

but bratz was ok. it's really nice because it teaches us how to stand up for our own rights, for our friends and how to be different than everyone else.

its about 4 BFF going to a new school and this evil mean girl Meredith wants to split them into cliques- Chloe in football jocks, Sasha in cheerleadering, Jade in home econs and science club and Yasmin in journalism.

oh yeah. they also participated in a talent show to show Meredith who's boss.

there's like sooo many great clothes in the movie, its hard not to get jealous of the bratz girls.

they are great! i mean, they can transform their clown costumes into hot waitress dresses?! imagine that!

went out with grace and her church friend, Andrea to watch the game plan.

its about this famous quarterback, Joe Kingman? who is in love with his career (you know...self centred guy) until his daughter shows up at hos doorstep (he didn't know he had a daughter, see...)

now he had to take care of her and focus on his career.

in the end, he grew to love his own daughter more than his career and she lived with him.

some parts are really funny, like Joe wearing ballet tights.

the ending is really touching and i cried. twice T.T

watched StarDust with lynette and my sis.

the movie was so darn awesome beyond awesomeness.

why?

well, there's humor, suspense, adventure, romance, thrill and fantasy all crammed up into this 2hr 30 min movie! it's really worth my 8 dollars!

its about this man, Tristan, who goes beyond his village (called Wall, England) to catch a falling star for his love, Victoria.

it turns out the star is actually a woman (yup. like a human being. when she's really happy she glows)

a prince and an evil witch both want the fallen Star; the prince wants her ruby necklace so that he might become King of StrongHold while the witch wants her heart for immortality (if you eat the heart of a star, you can live forever...disgusting right?)

so of course, Tristan has to protect the star for his beloved Victoria and they both have to be on the run to escape 2 evils (the witch is more wicked, actually. she murdered the prince in the end)

they seek help from a friendly pirate (his ship flies in the sky. instead of catching fish to sell in the market, they catch lightning bolts).

oh did i mention the captain of the pirate ship was gay? haha!

in the end, Tristan fell in love with the Star (i forgot her name....was it Yvainne?) and defeated the witch. he also became the new King of StrongHold because his long lost mother was a princess and he was of royal blood. all the other princes were murdered (yes, the prince who wanted the ruby necklace from Yvainne was actually his uncle)

he did not marry Victoria because she was well, arrogant.

happy ever after. i nearly cried because Tristan and Yvainne's love for each other was sooo touching.

really worth the money to see this movie!!!

spent my deepavali holiday watching a movie marathon on disney channel- Stuck in the Suburbs and The Wild - the koala is really funny and the wilderbeasts all thought he was their God or something. haha!

today nothing much happened and i did practically nothing. i just cleared my sec 2 textbooks from my cabinets and wrote a song.

haiz so bored nowadays. might be catching "The Game Plan" with grace next wednesday...

i also hope to watch Bee Movie and Bewolf...

4 nov

went to church and got back my cathechism test results. turns out i did better than what i expected above 65%, scoring a 32 out of 40.

i lost a lot of marks due to the fact that i don't know half of the 12 apostles T.T

after that, went to the library with my sis to borrow chinese books for my holiday homework (both the chinese books are very very thin and the words are big *wink*)

5 nov

went to bugis to shop to celebrate sha's birthday. lynette and adele came.

went straight to kfc first so that lynette and adele can have their lunch.

then went to bugis street.

surprisingly, i did not buy anything - that is so unlike me.

lynette bought a pair of earrings.

went to bugis junction where sha bought myuk handphone pouch and adele and i bought pin badges.

mine says: "MEN ARE NOT PIGS. PIGS ARE GENTLE, SENSITIVE AND INTELLIGENT ANIMALS"

and

"IMPROVE YOUR IMAGE, BE SEEN WITH ME!"

haha. went home later than my curfew (4.30pm- i reached home at 5)

at least my mom didn't mind.

6 nov- today

had dance practice. went home early because i am not able to make it for Fountains of Youth.

me, lynette and my sis would be watching StarDust tomorrow. i read the reviews and 100% of them had positive comments.

yay i am so excited. one of my idol, Sienna Miller, starred in there.

can't wait.

watched mindless cartoons some more. also managed to complete Jane Erye (due date of my library books on 4 Nov)

ok so Jane the Governess had an affair with Mr Rochester-- the man of Thornfield. he proposed to her but she found out he locked up his insane wife, so she ran away even though she loved him.

she stumbled across a house and a man (St John), his 2 sisters (Diana and Mary) and their maid (Hannah) took her in.

she then got a job and taught the villagers' children.

she also found out that John, Diana and Mary were her long lost cousins.

here's the catch-John proposed to her.

freaky weird thing #1: John is Jane's cousin so why on earth would he want to marry her???

freaky weird thing #2: turns out he wanted to marry her because of his business affairs- like going to India and helping the poor?? and not because he loved her T.T

talk about romance. i don't know which is even more freakier!!

in the end she went back to Mr Rochester (of course she did. both of them can't stop thinking about one another even though they are 20 years apart!!) who was blind and crippled due to a fire disaster.

they got married.
