i got over my embarrassment and decided to blog about my holiday in the philippines :
24 dec
took Singapore airlines to Manila and i watched Shoot em up and Stardust in the airplane seat.
when we arrived, my dad rented a car and we drove to Dau where we met our relatives.
we had a reunion party with loads of good food.
my bro made friends with our US cousin Ian and they played with fireworks.
they were a good pair because they are both so random and talkative -.-lll
most of my cousins were boys and they completely hogged the play station. Jetro was nice enough to let me play wrestling though.
according to tita* Lu, my cuz Edson was hilarious. he was very good at sciences but planned to take up culinary arts like his mom who cooks really good food.
i don't really get whats so funny there T.T
Gilbert might be taking nursing and Aaron civil engineering.

i have no idea at all.
Jayson (my bro) and Ian wanted to ride a trike (its a motorcycle with a sidecar) just around the neighbourhood.
haha. it was quite embarrassing because all they wanted to do was ride it without any proper destination to go to.
tita Dara accompanied them.
at exactly 12 midnight, there were fireworks! i wished the Singapore government allowed people to play with fireworks like in the Philippines!!
we stayed in the staff house with tita Lu, Aaron and Ian and tito* Rolan with Nigel and Jetro.
25 dec
we went to SM mall to buy our wedding heels and Aaron went with us too.
i was so pissed off because some of the shoes don't have my size.
that means i have big feet??
OMG
i nearly cried, for pete sake!!
however i found a nice low heels with pearl designs and luckily they had my size so i didn't complain.
then we went to Aunt Evelyn's house for some snacks and played billard.
yeah i know i'm not really good at it but it beats doing nothing.
then we went to eat out at Spencers' for dinner with our whole big family.
there was a karaoke!!
my lame brother did nothing but scream into the mic, making people wince and give dirty looks.
well, actually i was THE ONE giving him dirty looks but who cares? it was irritating.
tita Lu was so enthusiastic. she kept singing loads of songs (:
i actually wanted to sing but you know i sorta have a stage phobia. tita passed me the microphone and i went pale.
and Aaron was like "Just sing!"
its not easy you know.
i backed out last minute and spent most of the time under my hoodie because the air con was freezing cold.
26 dec
my sis rebonded her hair first so i was free the whole morning and afternoon.
i played with Jetro and talked to Aaron.
so my turn came for rebonding and i couldn't sit still for an hour.
i nearly cried because i couldn't take it!!!
my legs need to move around, you know.
my dad was nice enough to buy me a Philippine edition 17 magazine to keep me occupied.
since it was boxing day, i opened my christmas present from my relatives.

Uncle Rolan and Aunt Janet: A Bratz Jewelry box (yeah cause i really need one)
Aunt Lu: High School Musical handbag, New York and Company branded watch and 20 US bucks, i think. i can't remember.
Aunt Doc: 3oo pesos (that's equal to 10 singapore dollars)
Aunt Tess and Uncle Cooney: a cute mug
Aunt Gemma: jewelry box again (:
Grandma and Grandpa: a US winter jacket
there's a lot but i can't remember
seriously good haul this year!
27 dec
woke at 5 am for a 6 hour drive to Baguio, which was up the mountains. tita Lu brought Aaron and Ian along.
for the whole ride i slept in the car and listened to my mp3.
when we went to a restaurant, Aaron and Ian were losing temper with each other.
Aaron was like "i'll eat whatever"
so his mom, tita Lu said "ok. you'll have beef calgaretta"
Aaron} 'i don't want it'
Aunt Lu} 'you said whatever'
Ian} 'mom, next time don't bring kuya* along...he's being a jerk'
Aaron} 'you're a loser, Ian'
yeah. tough tension.
after that we went sightseeing in the car because it was heavily raining. sad, because there was such a nice view.
we went to a huge public park, took pictures of the mountain view, ate steamed corn and went souvenir shopping.
drove back to Clarke at 5pm and reached our staff house at 9pm.
we played PS2 till midnight.
i'll stop here. right now i want to play computer games.
and next time, i'll upload pictures IF i have the time (:
