before my turn, i headed to the toilet so i could get a breather. there was a girl who went to the toilet too.
me (throwing tissue paper into the bin): hi.
girl: hi.
me: so you're singing?
girl: yeah. you?
me: yeah. what song are you singing?

me: 'crush' by jennifer paige. erm, how old are you?
girl: 13.
me: wow. i'm 14. what school are you from?

i made friends with her. she went to audition first, then it was me, then it was joseph.
jack and lydia were nice. they told me to chill when i was waiting outside the door. i strained to hear voices inside. nothing.
so it was my turn, i went in, and suddenly all my nervousness vanished. i greeted the judges and sang.
they didn't really comment. after my song, they gave me a slip and asked me to check details on june 13.
whoo. glad, that's over. part of me wishes i wouldn't be selected and just get on with my life but part of me wishes i could progress to the heats.
waited for joseph, then after that, i went shopping in orchard with my mom (:
went to a really posh clothing store Bebe. i LOVE it. it's like walking into Gucci or Chanel or even Armani.
all of the things there are branded. i'm in love with the clothes and designer bags but have you checked out the heels?? they're bloody high and patent leather?
and so sexy. better looking than some guys i've seen. haha.
wish i can own a pair of Bebe heels, a Bebe dress and a Bebe bag to go with it.
tried on the tops. i mean, 2 for $99 is already a sale OMG.

after that i was tired (my mom was scouring for Bebe bags. i think she's handbag crazy. she already has 2 Guess bags, 3 Louis Vuittons and other 2 which i know are branded...) so me and my mom went tm to SHOP again (:
in tampines mrt station, in the corner of my eye, i thought i saw yuet cheong, my primary school classmate. well, i thought. i didn't wanna stare back at the person to confirm my suspicions.
ignored that person all the way till we reached the mall. i couldn't stand it and decided to look left, and to my horror, he was striding alongside me. it IS yuet cheong!
i saw his expression! he was smirking but continued staring ahead. oh haha. right, yc, 2 people can play at this game. i'll just ignore you. (yep, i know he knows he saw me alright. he's purposely trying to ignore me too!)
walked past Isetan until i couldn't take it (i couldn't) then i dashed in front of him and said hi.
wished i didn't say anything at all! he's grown taller than me! and i felt uncomfortable when he looked at me (i think he was looking at what i was wearing.)
ok, black top, army miniskirt with black tights underneath. oh, plus the Gothic black ring too.
shit, i thought. wished i wore something a bit feminine like a flowy dress. i mean, i gravitate towards the girly side, you know. jeans can do too. but it so happened on that day, my mom persuaded me to don all black- the tomboy-and-in-between-punk look. urgh.

then i said a hasty goodbye. damn, next time, i'm wearing something nicer, no matter what my mom says.
went to BHG and tried tops. there's a white one which i liked ($13) but i never got around to actually buy it.
then we went to Split. there's a sale!!
i was jumping with excitement!!

then i breezed through Veeko, then i rounded back because there was a sale!!
i managed to dig up a cute black shimmery cardigan from the shelves. $79 reduced to $24. WOW!
my mom also bought that, the cardigan, i mean. xD
