i suddenly thought of something...
notice that everything around us has something to do with...love?
like there's tonnes of love songs playing on the radio...
about loving someone, about breakups, about exes, about crushes, about one night stands, about dating...bla bla cheesy things.
and there's valentine's day.
and romantic flicks, dramas.
and romance novels.
and i wonder: are most of the problems people face today are about relationships?
you know- the usual stuff. oh, i like him but he likes her who likes him that sort of thing.
or- he/she cheated on me.
or- i want to get a divorce.
or- he/she slept with my sister/brother/best friend.
or- i got over him/her.
or- i wanna have a boyfriend/girlfriend.
or- how come he hasn't propose yet?
or- he/she likes me, why aren't we going out?
or- he/she isn't my type, why is he/she chasing me?
or- i'm in love with my best friend.
or- i'm already attached but i like someone else.
or- i can't get over my ex.
or- i miss him.
or- long distance relationship won't work.
or- he/she is afraid of commitment.
or- we keep fighting.
or- i'm sorry i hurt him/her.
or- we fell apart.
or- we're too focused on other things.
or- i'm crushing on him/her but he/she doesn't like me back.
anything else?
i've run out of ideas. my list is exhausted.
the thing about love is, you'll never see it coming.
and i think, through experience, i'd like it to be a surprise for me.
like one time, i went to the philippines expecting to be holidaying but well, something else happened. ahem, it was wonderful.
and the good thing? i never saw it coming.
so people out there who want to be in a relationship (i know some people...) just wait.
wait, and it'll come to you sooner than you think.
it'll be a good surprise and worth the wait.
