1. congrats to the Singapore table tennis team in Beijing Olympics! they defeated Korea!
but Korea was pretty good too. they were professionals and experts!
plus, it became really annoying that my mom screamed everytime the ball hit the table, while i was watching the game live on TV.
but well, her screamings "GO SINGAPORE GO!", was not in vain, so yeah.
2. batman the dark knight SO ROCKED. its the best superhero movie ever. not superman or spiderman but BATMAN. its so dark, thrilling, suspense and full of horror too.
oh. heads up for one of my favourite actors, Heath Ledger. he did the joker role so well. he deserves an Oscar.
3. ok, the ss test on 15 Aug was...i dunno how to put it.
i have no time to complete the paper!! dang. i'm so gonna fail.
4. guitar class was fun today. mr jeffrey went for eye operation, and his friend mr johnny thiam took over.
he was saying to the guys, "don't pluck the strings. this is a melody. if you play it like that, it would sound horrible, and your girlfriends would run away from you."
"so play it this way, in a more romantic tune, so you can serenade your girlfriend and she'll fall in love with you"
wesley was gaping then he suddenly burst into laughter. all the guys did.
hm, i wonder. how many of them learn guitar for the sake of pleasing a girl? xD
i mean, it'll be nice for me if a guy sings me a love song on his guitar. haha.
then the teacher went, "nowadays, people hardly play the violin. if you're beginner, you put it near the ear, it'll make scraping noises HEE HAW and you'll go deaf. then the neighbours would complain"
HAHHAHAAHAH!!
oh my teacher knows li jia wei! as in, few years back, mr jeffrey and mr johnny would go and play badminton every monday morning. and they train beside jia wei! she would play table tennis for a while, after that, she'll always approach them to borrow badminton rackets so she can play too! :O
then mr johnny said "sad. i wanted to ask her to sign my racket. i could join her team! compete in the Olympics! why did i become guitar teacher?"
haha.
i didn't know Emile was filipino too!! omg, he looks like chinese!!
i know Bryan is too. filipino, i mean. he also goes to the same church.
