25 OCT:
i cut my hair.
the hairdresser started to trim here and there. and i admit, i was quite nervous at the turnout. i'm scared i'd look awful.
but miracles happen. my new 'do was very nice. layered. but i am NOT used to short hair.
it feels...light.
went jogging too!
26 OCT:
church retreat! :D
i teased jacqueline mercilessly. muHAHAHA.
i teased about her and bryan, how they two would make a cute couple.
of course, jacq denied it (laughing while she did so)
me: "hey jacq! let's sit there!"
*points at a distance*
jacq: "why?"
me: "bryan's there." *smiles evilly*

at lunch,
me: "hey do you wanna sit with... bryan...?"
jacq: "NO!!!"
while getting a drink,
mariel: "why are we standing here near the drinks?"
me: "because in case bryan wants a drink and comes here, jacq will see him."
in the freezing cold chapel,
me: "jacq, can i borrow your jacket? i'm cold..."
jacq: "but i'm cold also..."
me: "you can sit beside bryan and share body heat."
denise laughs.
i know. i know. but it's fun to tease. jacq seems alright about it.
and because of that, me, mariel, denise and jacq started talking about...
you guessed it. boys.
denise: "guys with biceps are HOOOTT."
me: "yep. agreed!"
denise: "the thing i notice first is his hair..."
me: "all of him...face, arms..."
mariel: "his eyes."
denise: "huh? why eyes?"
mariel: "OH OH. smile also!"
me: "YESSS."
and the ball kept rolling. haha!
mariel: "how do you know? that you really like someone?"
me: "when he's not around you, you feel empty- and there's a missing piece. and when he's with you, you are so overwhelmed, you can't breathe. you can't think straight. you lose your senses. you-...."
mariel *gasps*: "pauline!! are you...in love?"
haha! lol.
anyway, we shared all sorts of stories about the guys we like(d).
denise's ex-crush wrote her notes and the two of them passed them around.
i mean, whoa. that's sweet.
there's plenty of sharing. and right now, i can't remember all.

during prayer, i was so spiritually overwhelmed, i started to cry. quietly.
at the closure, they played "One Way".
i screamed. "yay yay yay yay yay!!"
and jumped up and down, smiling like crazy. i love that song! praises to God! :)

27 OCT:
2nd day of retreat.
jacq didn't come.
i begged her to. but she still didn't.
church got lonely without her.
denise and mariel came a bit late.
praise and worship, talks etc.
there's also the healing prayer part.
you know, you stand with an adult, ask for any prayer or blessing, and they'll pray for you.
and, if the Holy Spirit is healing you, you'd be so empowered, that you'll fall- and someone behind will catch you.
so i had to wait my turn. while waiting, i saw Naville. he closed his eyes while being prayed over and then he swayed- and fell! like he was in a trance.
someone caught him, and they let him lie on the altar. i couldn't see.
God's power was working among everyone in the chapel.... and i cried like mad. non-stop. i cried rivers, no, oceans.
it was my turn and i made a prayer request. while ella and another woman prayed for me, i burst out crying again.
"it's ok. it's going to be ok. you are healing."
and they gave me a big hug.
james was so frightened (maybe because i was weeping so hard) "are you ok?"
i stood up for another praying over, and i fell, i felt someone catch me...
next thing i knew, i was lying on the altar stairs, feeling light, peaceful. i was on a cloud. "Get up, my Child. I have taken away your burdens...you're free now..."God was talking to me. i'm free.
i got up after a while, tears still streaming down my face. denise and mariel were crying hard too. i hugged them both. most of the students were crying.
martina brought plenty of tissues for everyone.
paul said he fell too!!
after that, for some reason, james hung around with us for a while (because of mariel! ;D i think)
heehee. me and denise teased her- haha.
james: "so...where are you heading now?"
me: "er..."
denise: "to the mall!"
mariel: "to eat ice cream. heehee."
i swear i thought i saw james smile :)
anyway, me and denise window shopped.
i still can't find the perfect white dress- crud.

for D'lah to cross almost the ends of the earth, to rescue Evolet, the woman he loves, it's...amazing. wow.
i thought Evolet died in the end! i tried not to cry. but failed. but because of a prophecy, she became alive again.

happy birthday moses! :)
went back to school.
everyone noticed my now-short hair.
lots of responses: you look prettier with shorter hair!

bio lesson was funny. pin cheng was forced to wear sunglasses with one green eye and one purple eye- he looked like a monster, HAHA!!
after school, went to kfc with pei shan :)
talked about boys. (again? for 3 days straight already! haha!)
tutored my bro chinese for 2 hours.
sigh. i'm really tired right now.
