whoo hoo. 6 more hours till i'm off to singapore.
i miss it so much.
i miss my bed.
i miss the hans chocolate chip muffin.
i miss my romance novels i left behind.

18 NOV:
went to fontana water theme park! again. this time without aaron and ian :(
there were plenty of fun amenities! the wave pool, the slides...
and, i tried dozing off at the shallow pool. and i did. daydream for a bit. like for 10 minutes.
i'll add 'pool' to my list of places where i can sleep :)

19 NOV:
went to tita Vivian's house.
tita: so...pauline! can you speak tagalog?
my mom: oh, she can't. she can understand only. she can speak english and chinese.
tita: chinese! wow. so do you have a chinese boyfriend back in singapore?

to cover my shock, i rummaged through my handbag- even though i'm not finding anything. at all. anything to keep my mind off-
my mom: yeah. she has.
*bunch of ladies, upon hearing, laugh with excited interest*
my jaw dropped in shock.
back in the car,
tita Dara *in hushed tones to my mom*: so...does pauline really have a chinese boyfriend?
my mom *throws me a scheming look*: W-E-L-L....pauline has a lot of guy-friends....so i really don't know... grins evilly
tita Dara: so you'll approve of a chinese husband when she grows older?
my mom *coughs suggestively*: erm, Canadian, actually.
O-K.
my dad drove us to Subic. it's a nice place!! wonderful beaches. it has a gorgeous lighthouse, tall palm trees, numerous seafood restaurants, woody huts....WOW.
after eating out, we watched quantum of solace.
Daniel Craig is hot as ever. even though he's a little old for me.

20 NOV:
my sister went for a hair rebond.
which reminds me, i need to save up to get a perm. no matter what. $ $
i went for a spa!!! all paid for by daddy.
i feel like i'm all grown up. SPA!!! not the physics or chem!! haha!!
ok this is how it is in the spa:
1. you have to strip. as in really. and they give you a disposable undergarment.
i am so dumb. i asked the lady: errr... do i have to remove my er....
she gave me a weird look.
not so grown up after all.
me *forces words out*: bra?
lady: yes. yes of course.
O-K.
2. the sauna.
it is freaking hot. i saw the knob: 80 degrees celsius.
oh my goodness. i was sweating of course. 80 degrees for 15 minutes.
the staff gave me a glass of cold water to drink inside.
they say you lose weight in the sauna. due to the sweating?frankly i have no idea.
3. my almond body scrub.
i love the almond cream thingy. it smells like chocolate, i was very tempted to bite and lick my skin. lol.
4. wash up
5. my massage.
the lady spread scented oil all over my body- be it the legs or arms or back and well, massage.
i love massages. i slept a bit.
the fingerworks were exotic. fingers threaded through my sore muscles. according to the staff, i chose the Thai and Swedish full body massage! cool.
aahhhh. should go to the spa more often. really relaxing :)

21 NOV:
watched madagascar 2.
it's really funny!! go watch it!!
(i love the penguins)
and you know, sensitive me cried at one part of the movie. because melman, the giraffe, is in love with his best friend, gloria, the fat hippo.
i know. a giraffe and hippo?? don't ask.
anyway, melman is a sickly giraffe.
melman: gloria. it wasn't the medicine that kept me going. it was you.
gloria: did you mean what you said?
melman: yes. i meant it.
-> me: oh my gosh....that's..tha-.. soo....s-o-s-o..... swe-et. *bursts out crying*
my sis rolled her eyes and poked me.
yes i am pathetic.

22 NOV:
road trip!!
we drove out of Dau to sight see a bit, and we spent a long time locating an accomodation.
jayson: look!! a rainbow!! do you see it!!
me: yeah yeah!! can we go to the end of the rainbow?? i wanna see.
my mom: we NEED to find someplace to stay...
finally,
me: oohhhh. there! there! turn back! 'Chocolates and Berries- Hotels and Inns"!!
SCORE!!
and the shocking thing was, the Chocolates and Berries was located beside an open field...where the end of the rainbow was.

we ate out at Jolibee (in case all of you don't know what this is, it is a filipino fast food restaurant. like mcdonalds.)
and, it just so happens, the Jolibee mascot was there, greeting all the customers.
me: shit. he's coming this way!!!! err...what are we going to do??
jayson: huh? do nothing.
jolibee came to me. i tried to shake his gloved hand but the guy (inside the costume), planted a kiss on my hand.

i mean. on the hand. like my romance novels!!
really T.T i wished it was someone else who did it. not a mascot. but he's cute. oh well :)

23 NOV:
we went to the 8 waves water theme park!!
and just upon entering, this hot guy started to remove his shirt...right in front of me.
i had the best view of a very nice 6 packs.
me: uh-oh. *looks away*
*then looks back again*
me: oh look!! photographers!! he's a....MODEL.
and a hunky one at that. but of course, ahem, i did not drool. i'm just admiring. i mean, i don't even know the guy, right? keep it up pauline :) at this rate, i will be immune to 6 or 8 packs. yeah.
after that, my dad drove us to Manila (yes so what if i fell asleep in the car, anyway?)
to SOFITEL.
ok get this, it doesn't look appealing on the outside.
me: wait...this is OUR hotel?? but but but...
i want a classy one! with chandeliers, with a nice smell, with valets, carpets, glitter and glam...
me: OHH.
it IS classy. like whoa. everything i wished for is right in front of my very eyes!! the valet opened the door for me, tipped his hat, and said "Ma'am."
that was SO EXCITING.
most of the people staying there were heading for the buffet, donning formal dresses and tux.
my mom *terribly excited as well*: heeehee. this is like hollywood!!
suddenly i feel a little underdressed with my mini brown dress and heels.
my sis *looking down at my feet*: thank God you're not wearing slippers i'd be humiliated.
HEY!!
anyway, the room rocks.
well duh. of course. it's SOFITEL. a classy breath-taking hotel.

after unpacking a bit, we went to the Mall of Asia (MOA). it is very big. the biggest mall in asia (i think) and the 3rd biggest shopping mall, in the entire world.
it looks like........a mall. just 3x bigger than vivo, i guess.
we met with tito Raul, tita Aina and my dear cuz, Adam!!
adam's grown taller!! we had a nice chat....
adam: hey. can i add you on friendster?
me: sure.
adam: ok just key in my email add.
me: i don't have my phone with me...
adam: HUH?? you don't have a handphone??? errr...that's ok. it's fine. you just key in yours.
me: HEY!!! i have a phone alright. what do you think i am?? prehistoric??
adam: oh.
me: i just left it at the hotel...
haha. so funny!!
he actually lives in Cebu, but he stays in Manila to take up a chemical engineering course in college. he gets a personal driver (SO COOL) and his own place. with no parents, like WHOA.
i am envious.
but he says he gets pretty lonely.=====================================================================
