CONFIRMATION DAY!!
tita Vilma came as my proxy godparent.
my mom curled my hair :)

i went downstairs to meet christina.
to my horror, i saw some fishy-looking guy talking to her. (well, chris was wearing a sexy white dress and gorgeous strappy heels. i mean, who can blame him?)
i wanted to run up and use my bag to whack that guy until i realised that he's chris's cousin. her proxy godparent.
oh dear. silly me. T.T
anyway, i can tell chris was really excited. me too!
when we arrived in church, there was a sea of teens wearing white. whoa.
i saw all my guy classmates wearing smart suits, which i can never imagine them wear in the first place. COOL!!!
in the classroom,
me: "psst. hey jacq!"
jacq: "hi! yeah?"
me *gestures wildly* : "have you seen bryan? in a suit!!"
she only rolled her eyes at me :)
luke was distributing name tags. "josh?"
me: OHHHH!!! who's confirmation name is JOSH?? that's so COOL! i...
i saw cornelieus take it and pin it on his suit. he gave me a weird look.
me *falters* : oh erm....it's cornelieus.
cornelieus is not a 'josh' type.
*frowns*
mariel: HAHAHAHAH!!
we pinned our name tag (my confirmation name read 'Marcella') and a corsage on our dresses. then we went to the parish hall and sat on the pews.
we waited (so long) for the mass to start. The archbishop himself came down to our church!
during the Confirmation Rites, every single teen walked down the aisle to be blessed by the priest or bishop and apply the errr...ointment thingy on our forehead.
i feel like i'm getting married.
seriously. my hands clasped (no bouquet of flowers though), dressed in all white; there was a priest in front looking at me expectantly, and the people seated by the aisle turned to watch me walk down the aisle.
but of course, no groom. haha.
after i got confirmed, i sat down and saw denise, mariel, jacq and chris all beaming at me. everyone was happy.
after the mass, our class took pictures with the archbishop. too bad elizabeth and melanie missed the photo shoot >.<
