26 NOV: job hunting
27 NOV:
peishan, cuthbert, pincheng and zhan hao came over to my house to hang out! :D
we played card games- my favourite, hamburger (if you wanna know how it's played, ask me!), bluff...
my mom ordered pizza for lunch and in the afternoon, we watched "Eagle Eye" on DVD.
the movie's awesome! thrilling- with lots of explosion and suspense, i promise you :)
we played badminton in the park (then it rained) and sat under the void deck to chat.
it's nice to know i can still bond with my friends.

28 NOV: job hunting. again..sigh. when will i get a call for a job interview?
they say they'd call, but they don't.
just like stupid boys who say they'll call- but they still wont.
dropped by Expo to the Sitex fair to check up on lynette- she's working there, so we chatted a bit.
she works from 9.30am till 10.30pm and gets paid 5.50 an hour! >.<
that's harsh. i hope she'll get a good break once the sitex fair is over. she can relax and count her $$
meanwhile, i didn't really know why i went to Sitex in the first place. all the techie stuff. gives me goosebumps.
i cannot handle an IT equipment without spoiling them somehow...
i'd rather have gone to the john little sale.
now that's more of my thing.

23 NOV:
i cleared my closet- threw and gave away old clothes, and set aside textbooks that can be donated.
so now, my closets and cupboards have more space! wow.
my parents also had the housing agent come over, since we're moving out next year- we gotta sell our flat.
know anyone interested in buying a big spacious five room flat near tampines mall, schools, church, mrt and bus station?
my flat's conveniently located in all facilities mentioned above! :D
24 NOV:
feeling bored, i bought some natural products, and did beauty DIY at home! :)
like one part vinegar and 10 parts water rinsed can cure acne areas.
garlic helps heal scars and prevents inflammation.
i crushed orange skin, lemon skin, ginger, cucumber, mix it with little water and honey to make a paste and applied it on my face.
did you know that baking soda plus water can help remove blackheads? (for more info go to ehow.com)
LOL! look at me:
in the evening, i sketched and did oil painting. i love art, really.
someone buy me canvas for christmas? ;D

21 NOV: Joe's 18 birthday party
see my facebook photos! :)
joe's poly friends are the most outgoing, funny and crazy people i have ever met- it's a pity because i wanted to stay longer, actually.
i made friends with tisha, brandon, stephenel and zac :)
22 NOV: shopping with mom
my mom scored a 100 dollar TANGS voucher, so we went to orchard to buy stuff.
in the end, she settled to get lingerie for me...
a shift...and you know, other girls things.
i love the females fitting room. is gigantic and wine-red like a sexy bedroom.
if bedrooms can be sexy.

this is sarah jessica parker's line of perfumes. i love "Dawn"...it smells heavenly!!
anyway, i was only supposed to get bras, but i told my mom i needed new underwear.
funnily enough, i found myself searching through racks of lace underwears.
lace underwears. soft and delicate...and frigging mature!!
my mom, "why don't you get this?" waving a lacey-hot-red-barely-there bottom.
"how old are you? 16. good. here you go", she continued, and threw it in the pile of panties clutched in my hands.
anyway, i don't think my future boyfriend would catch a glimpse of my underwear unless he tries to get into my pants.
frankly, i don't get why panties have to come in many shapes, sizes and materials. it's not the first thing other people see while you walk in the street, eh?
unless one wants to cut off her guy's blood circulation to the brain (get all lust shot), so it'll go elsewhere, so be my guest -.-

20 NOV
my brother was awarded "Best in Progress" in his class, so my whole family went to St. Hilda's Primary to attend his ceremony :)
while at Century Square, there were flier distributors (Nissan) and i got this free face paperbag! cool eh? xD
haha. freaky. like Scream.

19 NOV: Dinner with the Angs :)joe' parents were very kind enough to invite me over for dinner.Lawry's at paragon, orchard.because joe is very well-to-do, i guessed it was some expensive restaurant.WRONG.expensive is underrated. posh, grand more like.a hotel cannot even match up to Lawry's!!it's carpeted blood red, with portraits of the Victorian era, a huge chandelier, and throne-like cushion chairs.it looks like a fricking museum. and joe send attire would be semi-formal.i think what would be appropriate is wear a ground trailing Hollywood gown. my orange turtleneck with modest flared jeans didn't quite cut out, but his father was very welcoming all the same.you should take a look at the menu someday. the cheapest dish costs about 60+ while the most expensive dish costs like 120 +their steak is really that good. pay for quality, i guess.and their salad, some "spinning garden salad" thing, they literally spin it on a bowl of ice. hm, classy.Mr Ang told me their Yorkshire Pudding is very good- and it was. so very delicious, i cleaned my plate thoroughly.i can't afford any wastes either. my meal alone costs 77.90, i think.joseph's parents, me and him were discussing about local news, relationships, career opportunities, jobs, and the difference between mens' and womens' brains! haha. check out the youtube video.turns out, unlike every other man, Mr Ang does not have a nothing box in his head. he's a very deep, analytical banker xDi want to thank Mrs Ang for driving me home in her car too. it was a very nice dinner.(joe nearly passed out at the back of the car because he had too much wine)in case you were wondering, i didn't dare pull out my camera to take pictures of the restaurant. i was scared the staff may kick me out. but Mrs Ang took pictures with me though, hey joe, upload, ok? :D

18 NOV: TJ tea session, and a crazy day out with a troublemaker ;)"You are cordinally invited to attend Temasek Junior College's Tea Session for Top Students."*ooohhs and ahhhs*so i got the invite, so did Adele, Wenya, Khoon Hwa, Daniel, Victor, Teck Yan (and others), which means waking up early morning (after grad night arriving home late and slumping into bed, no less) and going there.i confess i went there not out of interest for one of the prestigious, top JCs in singapore, but free food.yes, food. i'm pathetic sometimes.the attire: half uniform.you'd think i'd not be daft enough; to fully comprehend the term "half uniform".my idea was this- top school uni, bottom: probably anything.my head was muddled up from the night before so i did just that, throwing in a denim skirt. and i thought it'd be cool to add a chain belt. so i did.low and behold strolling into the campus, i met with unnerving stares. worse still, entering the auditorium, i swore the noise died down. i rushed to take a seat beside daniel, who laughed and said "another version of half uniform"apparently everyone's version of half uniform is PE top and school pants or skirt.THAT'S NOT HALF UNI! THAT'S HALF PE.my god. depending on interpretations- so you can't put the entire blame on me.there was a talk and Q and A, so i queried about should one require a background in music or art to take that subject.i'm a triple science student, better in maths and sciences but hey, i love arts and humanities (except social studies, urh. nightmare. wonder how my o levels went for that.)then, snacks (YAY!!!) and a tour. me, wy and adele took some photos.i like their gigantic library with a high, curved ceiling- complete with Subway restaurant built in! they also have this cool carpeted art studio...know what? i am definitely taking TJ into consideration. (see TJ photos in above post)=======================================================================after that, i met up with Aaron in plaza singapura.Aaron was this guy i met and danced with in Asean prom. so he's a new friend i made :)he came late (i hoped he didn't stood me up) and we ate in yoshinoya. actually, i did, he already had his lunch.i bought him cool black shoelaces and a cap as a farewell gift before he leaves for malaysia.which lead him to cut my queue when i was buying my meal, waving a 10 dollar note to the cashier. my jaw dropped when i realised he was paying for my lunch.he told me to keep the change, but i refused. social niceties :)after that we went to the arcade. ok, he pushed me into the arcade, not hearing my protests when i pointed out he was wearing school uniform.i mean, i was also wearing, but it's half, and i removed my badge. he did the same and bought tokens.he tried to, but a staff came over and said, "You're wearing school uniform." she nodded to aaron's outfit.aaron, "No. those are bermudas." smiling to correct her mistake.OMG. i just stared. i may be reckless but i wouldn't dare-"it's school pants.""just bermudas."i wanted to laugh and just drop there in terror, all at the same time.in the end, i got really anxious, so i tugged his sleeve and we left.we walked through carrefour (pronounced 'care-for' or 'ca-fu'? i don't know. aaron suggested we go up random people and ask. i said, we fake it's a survey, he said good idea i dare you, but i chickened out.) and park mall.we ate soyabean ice cream from Mr Bean too.me: wanna go to the mr bean shop?aaron: oh. i love mr bean. he's really funny. do you watch?me: yeah, bu-aaron *rambles on about mr bean*: cool, i can buy the DVDs.me: wha-?when we neared Mr Bean, aaron found out it was a food store, not exactly, Mr Bean. and his teddie. haha! i burst into laughter at his ignorance.oh, just to add, we got caught eating at the mrt station (aaron's 2nd offense, the smart ass T.T) and had to go up the concourse.crazy day with a crazy person. but i suppose, i'm equally crazy too. that's why it rained like crazy that day, and i was drenched like mad.

here's the old news: O levels are over! i'm done. goodbye studying! i have thrown all the useless files, papers and books away already. (cuth, if you are reading this, you are probably clucking your tongue in disapproval)
well, i don't like to keep trash, if you get what i mean.
of course i believe in donating and recycling. don't look at me like that. i did some of that too.
so, i have more room for books, like, the usual, romance, and "French Grammar" (yes, i am self learning French) and art "paint" because i wanna hone up my skills. you know, not rot and be stagnant.
another old news: pauline's busy as usual. social butterfly has been flitting in and out everyday, it's tiring. no wonder i have pimples popping out. urh. anyone knows where to get aloe vera?!
tidbit #3: pauline nearly got into trouble. again.
haha. let me elaborate later on.

17 NOV: GRAD NIGHT
grad night. the biggest showdown of sec 4 batch 2009, and time for efforts to pay off.
because i did not walk around for 3 days non-stop, accompanying my girlfriends to every existing mall to find a dress. alright, not every mall, but you get the idea. *pants*
aishah, wai leng, grace, xin yun and sarah came over to my place at 2pm and i did grace's nails (sparkly pink)
did xin yun's hair. blow dry, style, clip and curl.
did wai leng's nails too.
initially we were lazing around, chatting...and somehow rather it lead to serious consequences where all of us were rushing about in our high heels, clothes scattered, trying desperately to put the right make-up.
i did smokey eye for grace, she did my mascara, i did sarah's blush...there was screeching and mayhem when aishah did xin yun's eyes all wrong and i had to drop everything to run for a moist tissue paper. haha. it was fun though.
we cabbed there and took plenty of pictures with our friends! (see my facebook for photos!)
while i loved the food (like, wow! 35 dollars well spent) the activities were...
ok. let me frame this nicely: you're 16, all glam up, looking hot or cool or whatever, you dine poshly- but wait, you play games like, who-can-find-all-the-items-and-put-them-in-the-string-would-win-a-prize game?
hello. this isn't a party, it's a grad night? my mom went, "pfft" when i told her there'd be no dancing.
while i appreciate the efforts (hey, grad night really pulled off and i'm overall happy- the deco, atmosphere, DJ, food were awesome), they shouldn't recycle the games played last year. i just wish there was more creativity and originality.
for the lucky draw, i was pinning my hopes on winning a camera, but i didn't get it. sigh.
the ending was really fun though! nominees for prom king and queen had to act out an MTV music video.
adam(the coolest DJ ever): "alright. i'd be the coconut tree. you dance around me like in bollywood. on one condition, you cannot touch my coconuts."
me and grace were shrieking in laughter.
result: Wei Jie king, Stephanie queen. sihui wasn't crowned, while her bf did >.<>
shins.
i went home with my dad, sis and grace, my stomach completely contented.
