here's the old news: O levels are over! i'm done. goodbye studying! i have thrown all the useless files, papers and books away already. (cuth, if you are reading this, you are probably clucking your tongue in disapproval)
well, i don't like to keep trash, if you get what i mean.
of course i believe in donating and recycling. don't look at me like that. i did some of that too.
so, i have more room for books, like, the usual, romance, and "French Grammar" (yes, i am self learning French) and art "paint" because i wanna hone up my skills. you know, not rot and be stagnant.
another old news: pauline's busy as usual. social butterfly has been flitting in and out everyday, it's tiring. no wonder i have pimples popping out. urh. anyone knows where to get aloe vera?!
tidbit #3: pauline nearly got into trouble. again.
haha. let me elaborate later on.

17 NOV: GRAD NIGHT
grad night. the biggest showdown of sec 4 batch 2009, and time for efforts to pay off.
because i did not walk around for 3 days non-stop, accompanying my girlfriends to every existing mall to find a dress. alright, not every mall, but you get the idea. *pants*
aishah, wai leng, grace, xin yun and sarah came over to my place at 2pm and i did grace's nails (sparkly pink)
did xin yun's hair. blow dry, style, clip and curl.
did wai leng's nails too.
initially we were lazing around, chatting...and somehow rather it lead to serious consequences where all of us were rushing about in our high heels, clothes scattered, trying desperately to put the right make-up.
i did smokey eye for grace, she did my mascara, i did sarah's blush...there was screeching and mayhem when aishah did xin yun's eyes all wrong and i had to drop everything to run for a moist tissue paper. haha. it was fun though.
we cabbed there and took plenty of pictures with our friends! (see my facebook for photos!)
while i loved the food (like, wow! 35 dollars well spent) the activities were...
ok. let me frame this nicely: you're 16, all glam up, looking hot or cool or whatever, you dine poshly- but wait, you play games like, who-can-find-all-the-items-and-put-them-in-the-string-would-win-a-prize game?
hello. this isn't a party, it's a grad night? my mom went, "pfft" when i told her there'd be no dancing.
while i appreciate the efforts (hey, grad night really pulled off and i'm overall happy- the deco, atmosphere, DJ, food were awesome), they shouldn't recycle the games played last year. i just wish there was more creativity and originality.
for the lucky draw, i was pinning my hopes on winning a camera, but i didn't get it. sigh.
the ending was really fun though! nominees for prom king and queen had to act out an MTV music video.
adam(the coolest DJ ever): "alright. i'd be the coconut tree. you dance around me like in bollywood. on one condition, you cannot touch my coconuts."
me and grace were shrieking in laughter.
result: Wei Jie king, Stephanie queen. sihui wasn't crowned, while her bf did >.<>
shins.
i went home with my dad, sis and grace, my stomach completely contented.
